Kjuge Boulder Meet
Come to Kjuge September 18th to 19 th and enjoy some crisp autumn climbing on the blocks in Skåne's finest boulder spot!
This year we will have again a 2 day event. There will be an opportunity to stay overnight in Fjälkinge. We will have access to the house but since we want to reduce the risk of spreading COVID we will stay mainly outdoors this year. You can use the bathrooms/showers and the kitchen, but please eat and hang outside on the porch and bring your own tent. If you are indoors, please avoid crowding and take turns in the kitchen.
8:30 Shuttle from Lund for members (separate booking via the SKK homepage)
10:00 We meet in the parking lot of Kjuge. Map: https://goo.gl/maps/NfpWTyEH4KC2
10:30 Some info will be provided about the program, and we will point out areas and boulders for those who don't have guidebooks. We want to use the opportunity to clean up Kjuge during the event and will hand out garbage bags, prices will be raffled off for those returning a full bag. After the intro we split in groups, explore the area, climb and have fun all day.
18:00 BBQ in Sjölyckegården. SKK will provide the coal and prepare the grill. Please bring your own food and drinks
10:00 We clear out the house – if everyone helps with the cleaning, it's usually fast and easy. Then we head back to Kjuge and everyone climbs for as long as they have
Overnight stay and BBQ:
You can pitch your tent at Sjölyckegården in Fjälkinge. Please do so on the area between the parking lot and the house. Note that we cannot camp on the football field! You can use the showers, toilets and kitchen in the main house. Please bring your own BBQ, breakfast and lunch for both days. You can also go swimming, there is a lake with a swimming area close by. Accommodation is free but it is expected that everyone helps to keep the area tidy and gets involved in cleaning the house on Sunday. If you already want to come on Friday and stay at Sjölyckegården please get in touch.
